Securities Times reported that on 12 August 2026 Fulai reached a strategic cooperation with dexterous-hand company Zhongke Guiji. The agreement says Zhongke Guiji will purchase complete tactile-sensing systems from Fulai in volume, and that the companies will cooperate on flexible sensing and humanoid dexterous-hand development.
Supplying complete machines, not a one-off purchase
Zhongke Guiji was incubated by the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Public materials say it has built a “dexterous brain + industrial dexterous hand” stack covering research, industry and special operations. Selecting Fulai as a tactile-sensing supplier means the sensors enter both the hand definition and complete-machine shipment process.
The cooperation is described as combining volume orders with industrial coordination rather than a one-off buyout. Tactile products are expected to ship with Zhongke Guiji’s dexterous-hand capacity ramp. Reports also note that the physical structure must fit finger-joint space and that signal output must align with force-control algorithms. Quantities, models and schedules remain subject to contract.
Securities Daily likewise confirmed a volume purchase of tactile-sensing systems and a long-term partnership. Shanghai Securities News cited disclosure putting the purchase scale at about 200,000 sets.
Third-generation chip-sensor integration supports volume supply
The supply is based on Fulai’s third-generation chip-sensor-integration technology, covering materials, algorithms and manufacturing. Public reports emphasize sensitivity, batch consistency and industrial yield as the basis for accepting dexterous-hand volume orders.
Earlier in the year Fulai signed a comprehensive agreement with Linkerbot and obtained a volume-supply order. Locking in two dexterous-hand companies suggests flexible tactile sensing is moving from sample evaluation toward volume delivery. A dexterous hand is the execution unit for fine work; flexible tactile sensors provide contact location, grip force and slip trends as the terminal sensing element in a sense-decide-act loop.
Commercial results still depend on delivery and acceptance
A volume order is an industrialization milestone, not recognized revenue. Structural adaptation, algorithm coordination, yield and after-sales support still need validation during complete-machine production. Product parameters and project progress should follow official materials.
